LG Has Released The World's First 88-inch 8k OLED Display and Highest-resolution Television

LG, I must say has started the year on a good note. LG has unveiled its new 88-inch 8K OLED display, which is both the largest and the highest-resolution OLED panel on planet Earth.

Previously, the largest OLED screen size was 77 inches, and it "only" came in 4K. LG Display’s latest accomplishment comes with not one by two impressive claims.

➡ Also See: World’s First 77 inch Transparent,OLED & Flexible Display Launched By LG

• First, it’s the largest OLED display ever created, measuring 88 inches diagonally.

• Second, it’s the highest-resolution OLED screen ever, with native resolution of 7680 x 4320 pixels. i can't hold back myself from shouting..... it’s an 88-inch OLED display with 8K resolution.

Those of you who just got yourself a new 4K TV during the holiday don't feel bad or upset because as we all know, that it’ll take quite some time before 8K TVs hit the market. And of course, it’ll be even longer before they’re somewhat affordable, and longer still before 8K content is readily available. It’s still often difficult to find 4K content to stream, let alone 8K.
You can still expect to see a few 8K screens on display at CES 2018 next week.

Startimes Finally Introduces Pay Per Day Weekly and Monthly Subscription Plans

After many years, Startimes has finally decided to launch Pay per Day option in their list of bouquets. I don't really know why this was coming so late from them, or is it because of the launch of TStv or Kwese Pay TV?

The launch of TStv came as a big competition amongst these satellite TV providers in Nigeria, which DStv, Gotv including Startimes are trying so hard to retain their customers by adding more channels and bouquet plans.
Startimes, after so many years have officially announced their own "Pay per view" option.

• Also See: Kwese Satellite Pay-TV Has Been Officially Launched in Nigeria...Check Out.

StarTimes introduced a daily subscription for a token of N60 daily as well as  watch over 40 channels at N300 per week. You can get the best of entertainment on StarTimes if you are not a subscriber yet.

This announcement was officially made on their social media account, Twitter precisely. According to the company, the new bouquet plans will take effect from November 1st 2017.

From the onset, the reason why people are not so much in love with Startimes is the absence of some channels like EPL, La liga and UCL sports.

Anyway, TStv is here promising all these channels and more exciting features. Let's just chill and wait for the commercial sales of TStv decoder to begin, come November 1st 2017.

What do you think of StarTimes choice?

Complete Information About TSTV Africa and It's Commercial Sale

There's been alot of of excitement and thrill concerning the launch of the new TSTV in Nigeria luckily the satellite tv was officially launched yesterday, the 1st of October 2017. But that isn't all.

Based on the news received via TStv official Facebook page, they said that the commercial sale of the decoder hasn't been commenced yet, as seen below.

We wish to inform the general public that the commercial sale of TStv Africa decoders has not commenced and there is no request from TStv Africa to subscribers for payments of any kind whatsoever for decoders. The public is hereby advised to disregard any instructions from any person(s) to make payments. For further information on our products and services, kindly visit www.tstvafrica.com and our social media handles. TStv Africa ...connecting your world!

Also See: TSTV Complete Channel List, Bouquet Subscription Plans and Price

Now, it seems there are some scammers pretending to be official TStv dealers, so this is an official message from TStv Africa to the general public to be more careful so you won't get duped.

For now, we have to exercise patience until when the official sale of the decoder will begin. And when it does, please only buy from the accredited dealers in your state to avoid being scammed.

Now, if you are still confused on certain things about this new satellite tv called TStv, which includes but not limited to how the packages are used, the subscription, pausing features, expiration date etc; all queries has been answered right here in this post.

Here are the first 6 things to know about TSTV

1. The N5000 for TSTV initial purchase includes a decoder, a dish 📡 and a remote control but excludes any installation service charge.
2. TSTV Pay AS You Go pause service i.e. the ability to pause your subscription when not in use would be available to those that would go for the maximum subscription which is the monthly N3,000 packageand you would only be able to pause subscription not more than 7 days, thereby allowing you 37 days at most for your monthly subscription. So don’t expect to use your 1 month subscription from January to December in the name of pausing or expect to use 1 day N200 subscription for 1 month, understood?
3. The first time you buy the decoder is the only time you would be able to enjoy up to 20GB of data as bonus, for subsequent full monthly subscription comes with 10GB of data and not 20GB as some of you might be thinking.
4. TSTV has incorporated its subscription service payments into Quickteller the popular E-payment service in the country and just like DSTV, you would also be able to easily pay for your TSTV subscriptions through Quickteller platform.
5. You would be able to buy extra 1GB data or above from TSTV at the cost of N300 for 1GB
6. TSTV data allocation has nothing to do with watching of TVST channels but just a separate and additional offer to the entire TSTV concept or better still what you commonly regard as Value Added Service (VAS).

Hope this has dissolved any form of confusion. Please don't forget to spread the news

TSTV BOUQUET AND SUBSCRIPTION PRICES

1. TSTv Monthly Bouquet costs N3,000 with 20GB of data
2. TSTv 2 Weeks Bouquet costs N1,500 with 5GB of data
3. TSTv 10 Days Bouquet costs N1,000 with 3GB of data

5. TSTv 3 Days Bouquet costs N500 with 1GB data
6. TSTv Daily Bouquet costs N200 with 500MB data.

Now, let me explain something. Some people might be thinking if the data is what you use to watch the channels. No no no. That's not it. Seriously, it's not what you think.

According to Telcom Satelite Tv;

The data plans allocated to the various bouquets is not necessarily what you use to watch the channels.

There's more to it. The most interesting part of all these is that, you can connect your PC and smartphones to the decoder via WiFi hotspot and enjoy free browsing and downloading with the data. Really cool right? Ofcourse it is.

WHAT IS THE PRICE OF TSTV DECODER?

It cost just N5,000 to buy the decoder; this includes the satellite Dish as well. Very cheap and much affordable right? Oh Yeah!

TSTV AVAILABILITY

I just hope that TSTv fulfills all these mouthwatering promises and features. If they do, i swear up, MultiChoice DSTV, GoTv, Startimes and even Consat are in big mess. You know what that means.

See World’s First 77 inch Transparent,OLED & Flexible Display Launched By LG

You will be surprised to hear this because it is mind blowing and almost unbelievable.......ok,here it is.
Few days ago LG announced that it’s created the world’s first flexible, transparent 77-inch organic light emitting diode (OLED) display. The display is capable of outputting Ultra HD visuals at a resolution of 3840-by-2160 with transparency rated at 40 percent.

As for flexibility, it can be rolled up like a tube with a radius of 80mm. You can imagine how much easier that makes shipping such a huge screen

Infact, it’s taller than Tom Cruise. According to Google, Cruise is 5 feet 7 inches, or 170 centimeters tall, and as this display is 77 inches on the diagonal with an aspect ratio of 16:9, that means its longest side measures 170.5 centimeters. It’s taller than Cruise, but not if Cruise wears shoes.

This display is impressive because of the combination of features it manages to include. A 77-inch OLED display on its own is a fantastic achievement, but to also support 4K output, be transparent, and very flexible just adds to what LG managed to achieve here.
what do you think of this?
