Well I guess Google Allo has not phased out. Because many of us still use Google Allo Google Allo has been doing fine and is currently receiving new update. The latest version of Google Allo (v14) has been officially rolled out with a new feature. About The Feature
The new feature gives you the ability to react to messages in a chat, just like the way it's done on Facebook Messenger. You can see the image below for what I'm talking about.

The update is gradually rolling out worldwide. Once you have updated your Allo app, you can let your friends know exactly how you feel about any of their messages - without the need to type a word.
To react to a specific message in a chat is very simple. To react to a message, just tap the heart. The number of likes is shown at the bottom of each message. If you're using Allo on Android and can't wait for the new version rollout to reach your device via Playstore, you can manually update by downloading the latest app on APKMirror.
