The suggestion that the new iPad will also support the Apple Pencil comes from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, courtesy of 9to5Mac. Kuo has a long record of solid leaks for Apple's moves.

Although The Pixel used to be the king of DxO until the U11 got the same score of 90. Now though, the iPhone 8 Plus' camera becomes the best that the lab has ever tested, with a score of 94. The iPhone 8's shooter isn't far behind, ranked No.2 with its 92 points.

iPhone-8-and-9-review

It has the best zoom and best bokeh effects in a mobile device, very good video stabilization and color rendering, as well as good face tracking in bright light.

On the flip side, there's some color cast in low and indoor lighting for photos, as well as some autofocus issues. For videos, exposure issues are present, and noise is visible in low-light. The full breakdown of scores by category can be seen in the image above.

Moving on to the iPhone 8, this becomes the highest-performing single-camera smartphone tested by DxO Labs. Why There Was Never an iPhone 9 or BB9 or Windows 9

If you have being following the trend of phones especially Blackberry and iPhone, you'll recall that there was never Blackberry 9 (BB9) or Windows 9 or iPhone 9. In this article I'll reveal to you why there was never iPhone 9 or BB 9

If you could recall, after the release of Windows 8, the logical window name should be Windows 9 but it was skipped over to Windows 10. Blackberry too did same thing and launched BB10 and skipped BB9. What about iPhone 9? Apple skipped the 9 and named it iPhone X instead, whereas X stands for 10 in roman figures.

Marketing and Perception
As a brand or company if you ever want a global success of a product, you must and should understand the belief, heritage and superstitions of the part of the world you are targeting. Despite the fact that this is the 21st century, human nature is still essentially the same. For example, even in many places in the West, the number 13 is considered a number for bad luck. Remember “Friday the 13th”?

Also Read:The Always On Display Feature is Now On The Android Oreo

Note: You are not likely to see Windows 13 or an iPhone 13 in the future.

A similar thing could be said of countries like Korea, China and Japan, where the number 4 is a synonym for the word “death”. As such, brands active in those countries tend to avoid it. Who wants to buy death?! I remember Nokia avoiding that number in phones they shipped to that region.

Never forget this: If you want to sell products (consumer products especially) across multiple cultures, the rule of the game is to understand those cultures and their superstitions. Sometimes, brands take a chance and go ahead to push a product associated with an unlucky/negative number anyway. Sometimes, that is part of the game. But with the consumer public, perception is a factor. A strong factor.

The Number 9
So, what brings the no. 9 into the equation?.
It is a curse word in Chinese and a synonym for suffering, agony or torture in Japanese. That’s what.

Note the Chinese connection. That is a huge market that big brands cannot afford to play with, so those brands who wish to sell there avoid numbers that can mess up product perception. In marketing aferall, perception is everything.

Now you know why there is no iPhone 9. Apple jumped and passed the Chinese curse word.

Hope you now know why certain nos.are being skipped by brands and companies.. Hope this will also guide you in  your choice of products name.

See Available Information About The iPhone 8

Apple is widely expected to launch new iPhones in September.
There's been a ton of speculation and reports about the upcoming iPhone, including that it'll be redesigned.

The pressure is on Apple, too. It's the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone, launched in 2007, and the company is expected to have some big plans to mark the occasion.

Here's what you need to know about the upcoming iPhone:
Apple is expected to launch three iPhones: one that's redesigned, and two updates to the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Analysts have suggested several names for the redesigned iPhone, including "iPhone Pro," "iPhone Edition," "OLED iPhone," and "iPhone 8," which we're calling it.

This report will focus entirely on the iPhone 8.

Tech news
The redesigned iPhone is the model that has received the most attention. It's expected to have an edge-to-edge, curved screen with much smaller bezels than the current iPhone 7. The screen uses a newer kind of display technology called OLED that promises to use less power and provide darker blacks.

Tech news

Apple seemingly confirmed the iPhone 8 redesign with significantly smaller bezels in this image included in HomePod firmware it distributed. The codename for this image? D22.
Via:
This design would allow Apple to pack more screen into the same size phone.
This bigger screen is expected to have a resolution of 1125x2436, according to Apple's leaked code as well as a forecast from KGI Securities.

The iPhone 8 is expected to have a front camera with 3D sensing and modeling functions, allowing it not only to take photos, but also to manipulate them. The front-facing camera will be used for facial recognition, either to replace the Touch ID fingerprint sensor or to supplement it.

The rear camera will also have its two rear lenses vertically oriented, as opposed to horizontal, like on the iPhone 7 Plus.

With a new edge-to-edge design, Apple is expected to eliminate the home button and build its functions into the screen.

It's unclear whether the fingerprint sensor will be built into the screen as well or whether the new "Face ID" feature replaces it.

And finally, Apple will also be adding wireless charging to the models coming out in September.

See Why Anticipated iPhone 9 Might Likely Come With L Shaped Battery

Apple is really making waves, The iPhone 8 is still on it way to the official launched date And Apple is already making plans for iPhone 9 which might be launched second half year in 2018. According to our report earlier Apple has chosen LG Chem as the exclusive supplier of batteries for the iPhone 9, set to be released in 2018. According to an unnamed source, LG has apparently invested hundreds of billions of South Korean won specifically for manufacturing facilities, and will begin full-scale production early next year.

The reports stated that Apple will opt for an L shaped battery module on the iPhone 9. This is different from the standard batteries used in current iPhone models. This new module is designed to support longer battery life.

Moreover  iPhone models include a battery and motherboard placed vertically next to each other. Apple is reportedly working to make the motherboard smaller, which would give room for the extended L shaped battery. With this design, the iPhone will also be able to charge at much faster speeds than any other model now.

This new battery design would also bring about new charging methods for the iPhone. For the iPhone 8, reports suggest that it will not only have a Lightning port, but also an embedded USB-C power delivery IC, which results in higher charging efficiency. The OLED display also adds to saving battery life since it consumes less power by not using a backlight.

Although The L shape battery rumors are not new, as they first started with the iPhone 8 in February. Reports claimed that the iPhone 8 will include a 2,700 mAh L shaped two-cell battery pack as well. With a more expensive logic board design, the OLD iPhone would have similar dimensions to a 4.7-inch iPhone, but with comparable battery life to a 5.5-inch iPhone, or possibly even better.

It will be cool if Apple can just include the L-shaped design in the iPhone 8 along with other features like Touch ID, facial recognition, and wireless charging. However, it does seem like whatever does not make it into the upcoming iPhone 8 has a good chance of being included in the next iPhone.
