When the status is activated, your friends won’t be able to distract you with messages or chat invites. Sadly, as of now, the feature is only available to limited users running the latest Xbox Insider Program Build with ‘Alpha preview ring.’
Eventually, the feature will see a wider release, but the time frame isn’t known yet. If you’re already running Xbox Insider Program Build, you can follow the below-mentioned procedure (via WindowsCentral) to enable the ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode. If you want to join the insider program, head over to ‘My Games and Apps’ on your Xbox One dashboard, select ‘Updates’, and then select ‘Xbox Insider Hub app.’
