First 5G Smartphones are Coming in 2019 - See Phones To Get It

Not so long ago we published a post on the World's first 5G Smartphone. And luckily this 5G technology is gonna be maximized and used in mass production of smartphone with 5G; this means your next smartphone in 2018 is going to be a 5G Smartphone.

This service is not done by a stand alone company, even though it was qualcomm that launched the first 5G smartphone, 19 companies among which includes LG, ZTE, HTC, Sony and others. These companies will provide  broadband-equivalent 5G download speeds.

Surprisely all this companies have agreed to harmoniously use the Qualcomm Snapdragon X50 5G NR modem, making way for multi-gigabit per second downloads and lower latency.

This suggests that the upcoming phones will likely feature 5G and run on super speed snapdragon X50

What is The 5G All About?

Please be sure and aware that the 5G is not just limited to super speed, but was also launched by Qualcomm for the purpose of connectivity. It intends to put an end to the stress you go through just to connect to a public Wi-Fi. In addition to fast connectivity,
you will also be able to get better video call quality, UHD and 360-degree video streaming, and instant connectivity to the cloud.

The 5G-ready Snapdragon X50 is not limited to just smartphones as it is also intended to promote the always-on PC's concept. Also as a method of promoting this,  Qualcomm recently partnered with Windows 10 laptop makers for the HP Envy x2 and Asus NovaGo. The chip company is also keen on a 5G future with VR, AR and XR (extended reality)

Which phones will get it?

It is common that most smartphones in the US uses Qualcomm flagship. so this 5G speed will be available fo the best smartphones in 2018 expectantly.

This simply shows that no current smartphone in production will feature this, only smartphones which are to be expected in the farthest future; devices like the the LG G8 and HTC U13. Irrespective of the fact that Samsung and Google are not part of today's dicussion, it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S10 and Google Pixel 4 launch will come with the Qualcomm 5G suer-speed.

Because the first 5G-ready devices are slated to become available in 2019, it doesn't mean you'll instantly get multi-gigabit speeds.

Qualcomm also announced that it's working with major carriers  (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Vodafone to name a few) on 5G speed tests right now. But some carriers won't be ready to launch their 5G operations until closer to 2020. In other words, we'll all get to fast speeds slowly but surely.
