Facebook Bans all Adverts for Bitcoin and Other Cryptocurrencies over scam fears

Facebook has taken drastic measures and has banned all forms of adverts for Cryptocurrency, so this means you won't be seeing any form of advert for cryptocurrency diplayed on Facebook anymore.

This move was taken by Facebook so as protect users from any form of scam from people who take opportunity of the rise and fall in the price of the bitcoin to cheat people. But this really strange and unexpected, not that i support fraudulent activities but why does Telegram now want to include Cryptocurrency in their chat or could this be a move to get more users?

As Recode reports, Facebook has instigated a new blanket ban policy which “prohibits ads that promote financial products and services that are frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices, such as binary options, initial coin offerings and cryptocurrency”.

That implies no adverts for existing coins, from significant players to more minor fish, and the previously mentioned introductory coin offerings or ICOs – essentially the virtual coinage likeness an IPO, which as you can envision, is a zone full of potential risks as far as tricks or programmers.

Facebook takes note of that this approach is 'purposefully expansive' to play things safe-instead of sorry for the occasion, while the site attempts to refine its recognition of such trick adverts. That may change later on however, as Facebook says: "We will return to this arrangement and how we uphold it as our signs make strides."

So this won't not be the final doom of such adverts for good, however it surely is for the occasion.
